CLS has partnered with the professional guiding outfit company, O.A.R., to offer campers a white water rafting experience on the thrilling Ocoee River, home to all white water events of the 1996 Olympic Games.

The Ocoee River rafting experience is great for the first time rafter to the most experienced of all, offering up to class 4 rapids. CLS Campers, who are 12 years of age and older, will have the opportunity to hit the “Middle section” of the Ocoee as a trained, experienced guide provides a safe and thrilling day on the water, all the while being captivated by the beauty and power of God’s creation!

We understand that some people like a thrill and others like to chill.  For this reason, we also offer an alternative adventure (bellyak) for those who would enjoy a more tranquil, scenic outing.  The Hiwassee River carves right through the Cherokee National Forest and is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the south east.  This trip is sure to provide excitement, relaxation, and moments of awe as you take in God’s creativity. The Hiwassee River does not require guides and is suitable for campers of all ages.
